So, you’ve found yourself laid-off be it from downsizing, budget cuts, or facility closing; there’s a lot of that going around these days. The obvious question is “what now”. Let me remind you that this could be a positive turning point in your life. You could end up with a better job then you left. And, of course, how many ways are there to cut your expenses?

It could be an excellent time to improve or upgrade your present skills to command more money in the future. It might also be a good opportunity to make that career change that you’ve always thought about whether it’s with another employer or a business of your own.
